Edmonton, AlbertaOur client, an established family-owned property management company with offices across Western Canada, are looking for a Receptionist to join their Edmonton office in a full-time capacity. You will be reporting to the Office Manager and be working with a close-knit team. This role requires excellent organization, communication skills and an outgoing and customer service focused personality. This position requires that you are comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls for tenants, contractors, vendors etc. This is a full-time, in-office position Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. After successful completion of probationary period, you will be allocated with 1-day WFH.This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a property company who are passionate about local growth and transforming the industry standard of excellence and passion. - Distributing office mail, e-bills and couriers; Taking out mail at the end of day
- Directing phone calls
- Greeting visitors and notifying relevant staff members
- Ordering office supplies
- Invoice and cheque management including mailing out cheques and monthly shredding
- Retrieving boxes from storage
- Filing, organizing and saving documents, cheques and bank requisitions
- Coordinating year-end boxing of files, transportation of files
- Assisting internal departments with ad hoc duties, including Accounting and Lease Preparation and Marketing
- Ensuring property listing is up to date
- Responding to online ads as needed
- Meeting room and Kitchen maintenance
Receptionist Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of receptionist/administration experienced is required. Experience working in the real estate industry is a strong asset.
- Minimum High School Diploma
- An outgoing and friendly demeanor is highly valued.
- Strong Communication Skills & good command of the English Language (Written and Verbal)
- Ability to follow direction easily and work independently.
- Attention to detail
- The ability to complete tasks as assigned in a timely fashion.
- Computer skills; Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including office, teams and SharePoint is an asset.
- Working knowledge of office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen and or eligible to work in Canada and must already have residency in AB established.
Receptionist Compensation:
The successful candidate will receive an annual base salary between $45,000-$50,000 dependent on experience. You will also be eligible for participation in the company benefits plan.Similar Job Titles:
