  • Remuneration: Total remuneration range: $105,466 to $114,196 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $89,120 to $96,497 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
  • Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)
  • Open to: Open to current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Records Officer to join Governance and Performance, Administrative Division.

The Records Officer provides recordkeeping and governance support services to the University community, including collaborating with clients to develop tailored recordkeeping solutions and to provide assistance and system support with use of the corporate recordkeeping system (QRecords).
In addition, the Records Officer will provide advice for a planned upgrade to QRecords, and support to other areas of G&P in policy, compliance management, Right to Information and Information Privacy.

What you need to succeed

  • Education, training and/or relevant demonstrated experience equivalent to a degree with subsequent relevant experience in an information management discipline.
  • Seasoned knowledge of records management principles, practices and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of corporate information services in a complex organisational environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, including experience establishing positive and cooperative working relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing systems support to a corporate recordkeeping system, including system configuration and testing.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise work and operate efficiently and with agility to meet key project milestones.
