Steps away from the main public transit stationWhat we offer:Highly competitive compensation package which includes, base salary, bonus, benefits, and career advancement opportunities!*Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employmentThe opportunity:The Bilingual Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process in a high volume fast paced professional environment. This role will work closely with business partners to ensure recruiting processes are effective and efficient to provide a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.What you will do:
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of First National’s culture, services, as well as the mortgage industry in general to understand the unique needs for each position
- Develop strong relationships and collaborate with key internal partners including hiring managers at all levels of the organization to develop and drive effective hiring strategies
- Identify qualified candidates through creative recruitment strategies such as: employee referral campaigns, proactive searches, online posting boards, and direct sourcing and campus events
- Complete the full recruitment and selection process including pre-screening resumes, assessing skills, interviewing and selecting the most qualified candidate.
- Provide and objective and unbiased perspective on potential candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers.
- Develop and implement recruitment campaigns that improve First National’s image/presence as a Great Place to Work to attract high caliber candidates
- Responsible for promoting opportunities to candidates while maintaining realistic expectations of the roles
- Ensure background checks and other selection requirements are completed (testing, case studies etc.).
- Prepare HR reports as requested
- Update HR information on the company intranet
- Work on special projects as assigned by the HR Management team
- Adhere to policies/procedures to ensure AML requirements are met, when applicable
The requirements needed:
- Post-secondary education with a focus in Human Resources
- Strong written communication skills, in both English and French
- CHRP designation an asset
- 1-2 years’ experience of full recruitment in a corporate or agency environment
- Experience in Financial Services/Technology recruitment required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge with HRIS systems and/or other HR software (i.e. Applicant Tracking Systems)
- Tact, diplomacy and a high degree of confidentiality
- Bilingualism (French, English) required – interactions with English speaking clients or partners
Working Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:
- Office environment
- Periods of high volume with tight timelines
- Long periods of stationary position/sitting
- Prolonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)
- Long periods of time in viewing a computer screen
