Reporting to the Senior Manager, Recruitment, you will join a diverse HR team to ensure an efficient full recruitment cycle process.More specifically, you will:

  • Coordinate and provide support to the team with job advertisements, interview scheduling, security & education verifications and onboarding new hires.
  • Work with various internal and external partners (Security Services, IT Services, departmental administrative support) to ensure a smooth process for all our new hires.
  • Act as a Bank ambassador by being the main point of contact for internal & external candidates and playing a key role in providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Actively participate in initiatives and special projects in line with the Bank’s HR strategy by identifying areas of improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance our operations.

What you need to succeedStrong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. You are proactive and resourceful and comfortable taking the lead to seek out opportunities to increase our overall service level.In addition, you have:

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing a high volume of transactions.
  • The capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, SharePoint & MS Teams, etc.

Assets:

  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practices
  • Previous Recruitment experience
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
  • CHRP designation

Your education and experienceThis position requires a post-secondary education, preferably in human resources, with two years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.What you need to know

  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
  • Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $62,400 to $73,400 (job grade 13)
  • Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay. The first tier of performance pay is for successfully meeting expectation, at 3 to 5% of your base salary. The Bank offers performance pay for those who exceed expectations (7% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.

  • Extra vacation days (up to five each year) that you can purchase to add to your vacation entitlement
