About The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced full-time refractive laser eye Ophthalmologist and Interocular lens Ophthalmologist with the opportunity to join or progress to a Medical Director role. The Medical Director shall be responsible for the direction of all clinical aspects of the assigned designated services and will assist in providing leadership for regulatory and accreditation compliance as related to the quality and safety of care delivered.
We are looking for:
A registered medical professional:
- listed on the Specialist IMC register (Applicants must be on the Specialist Division of the Irish Medical Council Register as an ophthalmologist or ophthalmic surgeon or should be eligible to be registered by way of being on the specialist register of their EU country or the EU country that they trained in)
- with operative skills in –
o High volume Interocular lens surgery
o Laser eye surgery
o Minimum of 5 years experience
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to Ireland
Qualifications and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine authorised on the IMC register and be on the Specialist Register (as above); compliant with IMC revalidation scheme and continuing medical education requirements.
- Formal qualification for the relevant specialties and services
