Job Views 4DescriptionAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading FM firms, working on a number of prestigious contracts, including supermarkets.Principal Accountabilities
- Delivery of Refrigeration installation, commissioning and maintenance works on site in compliance with the agreed project specification and within agreed timescales.
- Liaising with the Project / Installation Manager at all times striving to ensure that project works are delivered on time, snag free and to the agreed specification.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, company HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub-contractors follow safe systems of work on site.
- Striving to achieve snag free completion and where snagging occurs to ensure it is resolved ASAP.
- Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may affect project delivery.
- There will be opportunities to work on the very latest in refrigeration technology.
Skills Required
- Excellent technical knowledge and experience of working on refrigeration systems within the food retail sector
- Experience in working unsupervised
- A ‘can do’ attitude and self-motivation
- Flexibility in working hours and travel requirements
- A good degree of IT literacy
- Holding a full and clean driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
- City & Guilds (2079) F – Gas Cat 1
- CO2
Candidates must have a full and valid driving license and be prepared to travel within their specified region.In return you will receive:
£42,436 basic salary
40 hour working week
OT rates 1.5x outside of 40 hours
Company Van or option for car allowance
