Principal People are supporting a Warehousing and Logistics business to help recruit a Regional Health and Safety Advisor to join their growing Health and Safety Team.The Regional Health and Safety Advisor will be working in a varied operational role day to day covering Scotland with flexible and autonomous travel in a fast-paced environment whilst working closely with the wider team in an autonomous role.Base location is flexible; however, you will be expected to work autonomously across the sites.We would love to see CVs from people who have:
- Studying towards NEBOSH General Certificate (full qualification preferred)
- Experience within an operational Health and Safety Environment role (Transport, Warehousing / Logistics preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in a Health and Safety role previously
- UK Drivers Licence
- People who have the passion to develop their Health and Safety Career

As the Health and Safety Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Investigating accidents and investigations and working on a solution to reduce the risk of these reoccurring.
- Working with the site operational team to implement a proactive strategy for Health and Safety
- Daily Site Audits
- Provide professional health and safety technical support and advice to the business, developing and delivering the strategic business objectives to drive success through learning and development, leadership and Health and Safety strategies.
- Creating policies and procedures for the site to make continuous improvements.
- Maintaining and developing the Health and Safety systems and processes ensuring the business remains compliant.
