About The RoleRegional Philanthropy ExecutiveLocation: UK Flexible (Hybrid working)Salary: £26,830 – £29,777 per annum, pro rata for part timeHours: 15 per week, (Mon – Fri, open to flexibility)Contract: PermanentAre you an experienced or aspiring fundraiser? Can you help us build strong relationships with philanthropists to generate much-needed funding to help people in crisis?A day in the life of a Regional Philanthropy Executive will involve:You will play an important role in cultivating and managing strong and sustainable relationships with a portfolio of new and existing philanthropy supporters. We recognise that philanthropic prospects and donors are spread across the UK and so this new role has been created to support the Regional Philanthropy team to maximise funding opportunities across the country.This role is responsible for supporting the regional philanthropy strategy. You’ll prepare communications, solicitations, and stewardship materials for philanthropists, including individuals and families as well as trusts and foundations. These materials will connect our supporters to the impact they have – providing a joyful and enriching experience.You’ll also be responsible for administration duties such as producing thoughtful gift acknowledgements, maintaining data excellence, and liaising with income processing colleagues.Everyday you’ll work in an organised and proactive way – thinking on your feet to overcome challenges, contributing to creative discussions about team activity, and upholding processes and policies. Ideally, you’ll have major donor experience where you can champion best-practice and identify opportunities to increase funding and efficiencies. To do this you’ll draw on resources from our central support team and share information and ideas with regionally based fundraisers.To be successful in this role you’ll be proactive and a great communicator, keeping donor experience front of mind. Does this sound like you?To be a successful Regional Philanthropy Executive, you’ll need:
- Experience of interacting, developing, and maintaining relationships with supporters, clients, or customers and delivering excellent stewardship and relationship management.
- Confident, clear, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- A track record of working closely with internal stakeholders to produce supporter, client, or customer-facing materials.
- An aptitude for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while maintaining high standards and organisation.
- Experience and success in securing income against targets.
