Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Distribution SouthLocation: We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our Distribution team to cover the southern part of the UK. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.Join us and make a difference!Your Future Team:Reporting into the Head of Sales for Merchants & Distribution, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of four Area Sales Managers with the aim of developing sustainable, long term relationships that enhance mutual growth and profitability for both ROCKWOOL UK, and our large distribution and trade contractor customers.What you will be doing:
- Building and growing trust-based relationships with transactional customers and other key stakeholders in the value chain
- Developing and managing key regional relationships at the senior customer level
- Being the main point of contact for all distribution and trade contractor partners, this includes data sharing and resolution management
- Working with distributors and trade contractors to develop ROCKWOOL brand awareness with their organisations
- Tracking key business indicators to identify trends early and taking action to minimise negative trends
- Providing regional quarterly business reviews to the Distributors and create appropriate and measured action points to develop through the year
- Attending industry and customer events, expos and trade shows to represent ROCKWOOL within the distribution segment
- Developing, implementing and executing a 5-year strategy for the Distribution segment delivering growth by customer, segment and region
- Driving CRM KPI’s and adherence to create strong sales pipeline, future forecasting and demand planning model
- Leading the budget setting and direction for the business area by customer, region and sector
- Nurturing and developing the team to fully understand our customer and product value proposition, developing a sales approach to justify and maintain our premium market position
