Who you are:
The Registration Coordinator (RC) manages operational tasks, quality assurance, and processing for all aspects of course registration, grade reporting, and academic policy compliance. The coordinator will partner with overseas staff to operationalize and deliver academic programming for college level study abroad programs. The Registration Coordinator possesses specialized academic and cultural knowledge related to the countries for their assigned portfolio of programs and has an eye for detail to ensure participants are adequately prepared for the academic aspects of their study abroad experience.

  • Manage reports and data analytics related to course selection and grade reporting.
  • Assist with the review of Marketing and web materials related to academics and courses.
  • Manage data entry of course offerings and syllabi, assure compliance of student registrations, as well as production and delivery of final grade reports.
  • Ensure regular, timely, and accurate processing of registration, reporting of all grades, and execution of administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate grades and registration records for participants, in coordination with local CIEE staff, in Salesforce and other internal databases.
  • Serve as primary resource for CIEE US staff, CIEE international staff, program participants, parents, and sending institutions, for all registration, grades, and academic policy matters.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of student academic records in accordance and compliance with the regulations of the organization as related to higher education, the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act(FERPA).
  • Work with overseas CIEE staff to resolve academic policy issues; escalate cases as necessary to a manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring:The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time, administrative experience, including demonstrated customer service skills
  • Experience working in higher education administration, student affairs, or student services.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate a remote work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Ability to communicate informal
  • tion across cultures with Study Centers, educational institutions, students, and parents via email, phone, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom on a regular basis.
  • A high level of comfort with learning new technology, databases, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Experience within a college or university Registrar’s or study abroad office stronglypreferred.
  • International study or work experience or experience working with people from a widevariety of cultural backgrounds, strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Salesforce is a plus.
