Job description
– Job requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, library science or related field
– At least one year of regulatory experience is needed, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods
– Familiarity with handling confidential data
– Overall computer literacy is required
– Knowledge of software programs like SAP (specifically PLM) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and SharePoint) with advanced expertise in Excel
– Ability to work independently and monitor own work to ensure quality
– Detail-oriented and self-motivated
– Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under time constraints
– Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking
– Excellent reading comprehension, written and oral communication skills
– Job responsibilities include supporting ingredient disclosure requirements
– Gathering and entering data into third-party compliance systems
– Approving label copy and assisting with artwork approvals to confirm compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
– Assisting with various documentation needs
– Working proactively with cross-functional teams to ensure product regulatory compliance and provide necessary regulatory documentation
– Assisting the regulatory team in developing and documenting programs and associated processes to comply with regulations and government and Non-Government Organization (NGO) certifications
– Assisting with raw material, formulation and packaging regulatory evaluations to confirm compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
– May be requested to support established product testing and certification programs.
