A diverse Mixed Comprehensive School in Southall is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our Humanities department on a part-time, fixed-term basis. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore religious and ethical questions.About Our Learning Community:Our school values religious understanding and encourages students to explore diverse perspectives.About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level.
- Develop and implement lesson plans covering religious theology, ethics, and world religions.
- Facilitate student-led discussions, debates, and presentations.
- Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and examinations.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the RE curriculum.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as religious studies clubs and interfaith dialogues.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher with a strong background in Religious Education or Theology.
- Experience teaching RE at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- A passion for fostering religious understanding and ethical reflection.
