The PSB is the link between the sales teams and the suppliers of goods and services to external customers. We are here to support the sales teams and free them to spend time selling to the customer, we will look to secure the most competitive price for the customer ensuring the most cost-effective method is arrived at for the business.

The key purpose of the role is to provide a pivotal role in the operational day-to-day aspects of the Contracts Administration team. You’ll have the responsibility for maintaining information relating to customer annuity contracts and assisting in the running of the Contracts Administration function ensuring that all duties are completed to the required standard and timescale. In addition, there is also a requirement to lead continual improvement in the way service contracts are managed and controlled within Service by analysing, comparing and investigating CISCO and third party data to BT data, taking the appropriate corrective action if required. This role also involves opportunity loading, customer mapping, weekly reconciliation on attach and renewal opportunities, reporting and forecasting.

What you’ll be doing

1. Processing new orders / contracts / renewals / cancellations and amendments to existing contracts on the relevant business tools ensuring accuracy, bill IT Services support and managed services, complete billing activities to strict deadlines. Raising purchase orders to specialist suppliers to aid procurement accounting and reporting functions
2. Dealing with end customers, sales, finance for hardware break fix, contract renewals, flex contracts including contract queries and answering Service Desk entitlement queries to strict internal timescales
3. Self-managing contracts by ensuring invoicing, renewals, and queries are completed within SLA. Ensuring governance against authorizing invoices from specialist suppliers and ensuring information is captured accurately for accounting and reporting purposes
4. New business Product launch Service Introduction – Collaborating with cross functional teams to create and map PSB processes into the contracts team
5. Providing metrics / reporting on supplier renewals to ensure we are aligned with targets. Supporting and driving all renewal activities and attach opportunities across the quarter to maximize revenue and rebate. Identifying / analysing Cisco maintenance Attach opportunities quarter on quarter to deliver against the BT Cisco metrics

What we’d like to see on your CV

1. Commercial awareness demonstrates sound knowledge of contracts and billing
2. IT product and services knowledge
3. Good track record in managing customer relationships and owning complex issues
4. Excellent Excel knowledge, data manipulation and reporting skills
5. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years

This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
