Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role, you will be responsible for providing reporting services to our Pension clients. You will play a significant role in the production and verification of financial data to produce monthly statements within prescribed deadlines. You will identify and resolve reporting problems and work with the business units as a direct liaison with the Blue (Client) teams to ensure corrective action (s) and proper procedures are in place to resolve operational issues. You will work closely with other internal client support teams and act as a direct liaison with Blue (Client) teams to ensure the seamless integration of new business and client restructures.What will you do?The administrator position is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of client reports including:

  • Prepare assigned Financial Statement within established deadlines
  • Reconciliation and analysis of portfolio assets, entitlements and cash statements
  • Identify and resolve reporting problems. Work with internal units to ensure corrective actions and proper procedures are in place
  • Ensure accounts, events and report requests are set up according to client’s specification as required
  • Verify all transactions posting through the client accounts are accurate and meet account requirements.
  • Provide a high level of service by responding promptly and accurately to daily client requests and enquiries regarding the administration of client accounts
  • Ensure compliance with policies & procedures currently in place
  • Ensure all daily electronic files transfers are completed on time

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • University Degree on Business, Finance or Commerce
  • Strong understanding of Institutional Client statutory and financial reporting requirements
  • Securities industry experience and knowledge of international markets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and networking abilities with other departments
  • Knowledge of funds & alternative investments
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of PC applications such as excel

Nice-to-have

  • Milvus and Gplus system knowledge
  • CSC designation an asset
  • Investment industry knowledge
  • MBA or CPA
  • Industry related courses/designations
