About usAn exciting opportunity has arisen in our team to work on a new study (MATILDA) funded by the NIHR Public Health Research stream and led by Chief Investigator prof Laurence Taggard, Ulster University. Prof Angela Hassiotis is the PI for the London site. You will be working with a dynamic and enthusiastic team that has contributed significantly into health research for people with intellectual disabilities. You can read more about the study here:The post is based at the Division of Psychiatry. The UCL Division of Psychiatry is within the Faculty of Brain Sciences and a centre of excellence in Mental Health research. Our aim is to contribute to the improvement of mental health through research and education. We address clinical problems in order to achieve benefits for patients and public health, using insights from basic science. We also deliver innovative teaching, relevant to clinical practice, which is informed by our research.About the roleDuties and responsibilitiesPlease see the full job description for the responsibilities of the post. However, the main elements will be: * Consent and carry out baseline assessments of participants
- Liaise with stakeholders and participate in research meetings regarding the conduct of the project
- Upload completed questionnaires to the main study site
- Undertake such work as is required by PI if timetable allows.
Appointment details:
- The post is will be offered on Grade 6B (the salary ranges from £32,332 to £39,980 (including London Allowance).
- The appointment is available from September and is funded for 24 months.

About youYou will be working with prof Hassiotis to manage the recruitment and assessment of participants to the MATILDA study in the London site.You will also liaise and collaborate with the NI colleagues to manage the project, upload data and discuss any issues arising.We expect an enthusiastic and curious individual to work with colleagues in the community and the university to deliver the feasibility study.Please consider the person specification for more information.
