Job Description

We are looking for a capable and motivated Research Fellow to join our research group on integrated quantum photonics. We aim to develop an integrated quantum photonic platform that can generate, process, and detect quantum states of light. The candidate will be working on waveguide-integrated superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors, superconducting electronic circuits, and cryogenic electro-optic devices.

This position will be hosted by Assistant Professor Di ZHU’s group in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Successful candidates will be involved in, but not limited to, the following activities:
•    Develop cryogenic optical/electronic measurement setup
•    Design, fabricate, and characterize superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors
•    Design, fabricate, and measure superconducting electronic circuits
•    Assist in mentoring graduate students
•    Regularly disseminate research results through reports, presentations, and manuscripts

Qualifications

•    Ph.D. degree (completed or soon to be completed) in Physics, Applied Physics, Material Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant areas
