The Department of Engineering is seeking a motivated, highly organised and motivated individual for the role of Research Support Manager at our Strand campus. This is a key position in the Department of Engineering, within the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES), playing an important role in managing the research and PGR support within the Department. Responsibilities include line managing the Department’s Senior Research Support Officer and Postgraduate Research Officer (PGR), providing the support and guidance they need to successfully deliver in their roles, having oversight of all research and PGR activity across the department and ensuring that research staff, academics and PGR students in the department receive high-quality support.
The post will report to the Department Manager and work closely with the Deputy Head of Department for Research. The post will also work closely with the Faculty research and PGR teams.
This is currently a hybrid role and the role holder would spend part of their working week on campus and part of the week working remotely.

£43,205 to £50,585 per annum, including London Weighting Allowance (Grade 6)
