Your role

The successful candidate will be comfortable talking to people at different levels of seniority and able to promote innovation and growth.

This role will place you at the heart of some of our most important customer projects, involved in assessing client’s level of resilience and their potential to respond and adapt quickly to disruptions that may threaten their operations, brand or reputation. You will assist with the development and testing of business continuity plans and help our clients gain confidence in the measures that are put in place.

You will have excellent analytical and communication skills and an inquisitive mind-set with a passion for learning and growth. You will receive structured training and development to build the skills you need to be an effective cyber security consultant.

The successful candidate must be eligible and willing to go through SC Security Clearance.

  • Advising our clients on the appropriate measures they should take to help their organisations survive.
  • Preparing roadmaps to show how our clients should develop their own operational resilience capability.
  • Planning activities and preparing documentation to ensure our clients can meet regulatory requirements.

Your experience

  • At least five years in the field of business continuity and disaster recovery with a strong foundation demonstrated through holding a relevant professional certification such as MBCI.
  • Experienced in working in in highly regulated environments with knowledge of International security standards e.g. NIST, ISO27001, ISO22301, IEC62443 and data privacy (GDPR et al).
  • Understanding of the implications of forthcoming digital operational resilience regulations.
  • A track record of managing relationships with customers, scoping and delivering consultancy assignments and with a broad range of experience in providing advice and guidance on security regulations, policies, processes and technologies..

Desirable skills

  • Experience performing threat modelling and design reviews to assess implications and requirements that accompany the introduction of new technologies.
  • Familiarity with ICS and SCADA systems would be an advantage
  • Professional accreditation through BCS, ISACA, ISC2 or similar
