We have an exciting opportunity to join the established Resourcing Team as a Receptionist/Administration Assistant. Within this varied role you will be required to deliver exceptional customer service as you will be the first point of contact for the Resourcing Department for visitors and employees.For this role you will need to have excellent communication skills that will enable you to carry out duties to provide face to face, over the phone or email assistance, you will also be required to occasionally provide administrative support to the Resourcing Officers within the department.***Please Note the advert may close sooner than the date advertised due to levels of interest, closing of the advert will happen with no notice*******Please note we are not eligible to sponsor for this post****Main duties of the jobYou will be providing a high-quality support in the daily running of the department as an individual and team player. To undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties required to maintain the smooth running of the department and enable the team to achieve their objectives and meet required deadlines.This will include;o Greeting Visitors and Employees when they come to the departmento Creating access badges for new starters in the trusto Review and action electronic correspondence appropriately in the resourcing inboxo Word processing creating basic documents and completing factual references for internal and external staff members in line to the trust policy.o Data input, accurately inputting data using a variety of Trust IT systems in a timely wayo Undertake filing, photocopying, scanning of documents as requiredo Answering the telephone and taking messages, dealing with them in a timely and efficient way and referring on as appropriateo Processing DBS recheckso Receive and open incoming post and act as requiredo Monitor levels of stock items such as stationery and national recruitment literature ensuring that appropriate authorisation is received to ensure sufficient supplies are available to the teamYou will work alongside our Resourcing Support Officer and the team of Resourcing Officers to help you grow into this role.The job role involves working Monday – Thursday 09.00 – 17.00 and Friday 08.00 – 16.00About usWe are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in our workforce and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, with a special focus on welcoming individuals from disabled, Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, as well as those from our local area.In line with our dedication to employee support, we offer a variety of benefits. - NVQ level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification or equivalent relevant training and experience
ExperienceEssential
- Experience in transactional general office work involving word processing, filing and dealing with customers (internal or external)
- Experience of dealing with customer queries, face to face or by telephone

- Knowledge of NHS Recruitment Services
- Knowledge of Trac Recruitment systems and ESR
Skills and AbilitiesEssential
- Accurate word processing / keyboard skills
