Are you ready to drive success?For more information, visit or follow us @SyscoCanada at ; orFor a full list of opportunities, visitRole:This incumbent will work alongside internal partner (Sales, Finance, Merch) and ensure that the Region/Site Annual Operating Plan Gross Margin Dollars, Margin Rate, Sales, and Piece growth targets are achieved for independent businesses.Role Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a Revenue & Margin Consultant with Regional Team & Site Sales Leadership.
  • Reviews Margins Daily and finds errors/anomalies and ensure corrections made.
  • Provides analysis of Revenue potential by Region, Site, District & Product Categories.
  • Reviews Equity Weekly & makes recommendations to achieve targets.
  • Reviews Fuel Surcharge & makes recommendations to achieve targets.
  • Works with Sales Leadership to ensure Leveraged Profit Growth.
  • Hosts regular Revenue Strategy Meetings & communicates results and offers analysis & corrective action.
  • Ensures effective use of all Proactive Pricing Tools.
  • Participates in Sales Meetings.
  • Provides effective training in area of Commission Plan.
  • Follows RMBP Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly Routine.
  • Complies with all applicable regulations/laws and company policies.
  • Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):

  • 2 – 5 years work experience in Business, Finance, Marketing or Sales.
  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience focused in Business, Finance, Marketing, Sales or Hospitality.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to IDS and AS400 is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing with access to a vehicle is required.
  • Infrequent travel may be required (less than 10%).
