Our extensive global presence offers a diverse range of career opportunities across various industries, nations, and job domains, empowering our workforce to continuously enhance their skills and stay competitive.For further information, please visit:Siemens Financial Servies (SFS) is hiring a Risk and Pricing Analyst within the Risk Analytics Americas Team, a division of the Global Funding, Pricing, and Integrated Risk Department.The Risk and Pricing Analyst is both the local subject matter expert for our global pricing methods & tools and support other local risk controlling topics, as well as a champion for digital innovation in the risk community.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:Operational Pricing:

  • Deliver transactional and portfolio pricing evaluations to enable data-driven decision-making for new and existing business ventures.
  • Conduct reviews of transactional pricing evaluations for accuracy and adherence to pricing and business policies.
  • Provide advisory services on pricing methods and structures to ensure alignment with risk policies.

Pricing Governance and Methods Expertise:

  • Analyze, implement, and improve pricing methods for new and existing products.
  • Ensure compliance with global, local, and business unit-specific pricing evaluations and policies.
  • Coordinate between global, local, and business unit-specific policies, process definitions, and system functionality to maintain alignment and operational efficiency.

Risk Analytics:

  • Support the development and refinement of models and methods for evaluating financial risks and performance.
  • Analyze portfolio risk measures, respective drivers, and sensitivities to key risk factors.
  • Engage in projects and initiatives to represent Risk Controlling functions and to provide respective support to the business.

Risk Controlling Governance:

  • Document and update policies outlining risk limitations, responsibilities, and reporting requirements, handle their deployment and change management.
  • Development and documentation of application/project requirements and conduct testing.
  • Create and disseminate training materials to educate staff on risk definitions, policies, reporting standards, and tool usage.

Reporting and Development

  • Manage recurring reporting submissions, reconciliations, and system configurations.
  • Maintenance, requirement and data extraction demand management, and analytics for our risk data warehouse
  • Drive digitalization and automation initiatives as well as the development of our tool and reporting ecosystem in alignment with business and IT

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience with the following:
  • Financial services industry
  • Understanding of financial risks (credit risk, interest rate risk, currency risk, liquidity risk, etc)
  • Understanding of typical deal structures and pricing components in Project and Structured Finance, Corporate Lending and Commercial Finance/ Leasing
  • Data analytics, business analytics and presentation methods
  • Intermediate to Advanced understanding of technical languages (eg. R, Python, SQL, VBA)
  • Effective communication skills including Interpersonal/Presentation, User/Technical documentation
  • Process improvement projects or initiatives
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

  • The pay range for this position is $81,100- $166,600 and may be eligible for an incentive plan. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
