Trading Risk Manager – Remote (occasional travel for meetings) – Renewables and Sustainability Consultancy – £55,000 – £65,000 + bonus and benefitsRight to work in the UK is essential for this positionJob Description:A leading consultancy in the renewables and sustainability sector is seeking a Trading and Energy Risk Manager to oversee risk management strategies for trading activities in renewable energy and sustainability markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading risk, market analysis, and regulatory compliance within the energy sector.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement risk management strategies for renewable energy and sustainability trading.Monitor and assess market risks, price volatility, and regulatory changes.Provide risk analysis and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in energy trading and sustainability.Collaborate with teams across the organization to integrate risk management practices.Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the risk management function.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in trading risk management, preferably in energy or renewables.Strong knowledge of energy markets, risk modeling, and regulatory frameworks.Proficiency in risk management software and financial modeling tools.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
