Rotational Pharmacy AssistantThe Inpatient Pharmacy at the Royal Berkshire Hospital has an exciting opportunity for Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy team. We are looking for hard-working and highly motivated individuals to join our welcoming and innovative team.Here in Pharmacy we strive to deliver an efficient, safe and resourceful service to our patients. If you believe you are the right person for the job, we welcome your application.Main duties of the jobUndertake duties on a rotational basis across Pharmacy Homecare, Pharmacy Stores and the multi-disciplinary Dispensary teams. Performing a range of tasks to assist and support the provision of a variety of Pharmacy services. To work as part of the multi-disciplinary dispensary team when participating in the weekend and bank holiday rotas, including booking prescriptions onto the prescription tracking system.About usThe Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest District General Hospitals in the country. - Experience in pharmacy: hospital or community
- Experience in hospital pharmacy stock distribution and top-up service
- Experience using JAC computer system
Education, Qualifications & TrainingEssential
- GCSEs at level 4-9 (grade A* – C or equivalent) in Maths, English Language and 2 Science subjects
Desirable
- NVQ and BTEC Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, OR willing to work towards qualification
