At the heart of this performance improvement is the analysis of relevant industry data to target our improvement plans and areas of focus. As Route Performance Analysis Manager, you will lead a team of performance analysts to interrogate, report and present our data to the wider business and industry stakeholders. You will also support the business case process for a number of our performance improvement initiatives – providing the data to support this exciting investment.Please note, interviews for this role are likely to take place the week commencing the 17th of June.About the role (External)Here are some of the duties your role will include: –· Lead and implement improved understanding of the long-term drivers of train performance across the route and the trade-offs between performance and cost.· Lead, manage and deliver high quality and innovative performance analysis and reporting to support performance improvement within the route.· Lead and manage the reporting of our regulatory performance indicators to ensure industry compliance.· Engage with other industry stakeholders to make best use of industry data and analysis for overall industry benefit.· Work with the wider performance team and business to provide data analysis to support the business case planning of our performance improvement projects.· Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.· Manage the engagement and development of individuals and of the team.· Manage and comply with company procedures to provide appropriate resources, communication strategies, training, and competency to enable the team to deliver their accountabilities.What you will bring to the role: –· Experience of performance planning at national and local levels· Expert user of databases and spreadsheet information systems· Trained in forecasting and performance planning principles and techniques.· Ability to analyse complex data.· Structured and analytical thinker with numerate and conceptual analysis capability· The ability to work with and influence people at all levels of the wider business.· Ability to manage and develop a team.· Good communication skills and a customer focussed approach.How to apply (External)Salary: Starting at £46,701 and rising to £52,538 per annumNetwork Rail Benefits –Closing date: 09.06.24Please get your application in as soon as possible, we may close the advert before the listed closing date if we receive enough applications.
