Job description

Job ResponsibilitiesUnder limited supervision, provides psychological testing and assessment services for the Family Options for Cherokee, Union, and Spartanburg (FOCUS) grant. Develops and implements community-based psychological services (primarily testing, evaluation, consultation, and supervision of master’s level clinicians) for ages 0 to 21 and their families. Acts as an integral member of the team, referring clients/patients to member organizations of the FOCUS system of care and to in-house clinicians.

  • Provides clinical and administrative supervision of master’s level counseling clinicians

servicing Spartanburg, Union, and Cherokee counties under the FOCUS grant.

  • Develops and implements community-based psychological services

Minimum and Additional RequirementsA doctoral degree in applied psychology from an APA-approved program in psychology and possession of a current license to practice psychology in the State of South Carolina of license eligibility within two years.Preferred QualificationsA doctoral degree in applied psychology from an APA-approved program in psychology and possession of a current license to practice psychology in the State of South Carolina of license eligibility within two years.Additional CommentsThe South Carolina Department of Mental Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity Agency.
