What you will be doing:

You will provide a capability to enable greater integration of the NSRP safety case and Site Safety Case(s) pertaining to the critical nuclear infrastructure at the BAE Systems Licensed/Authorised Sites.

  • Apply knowledge and expertise of existing NSRP analysis to identify opportunities to reduce SSC constraints and potentially improve submarine availability.
  • Proactively identify Barrow Licensed/Authorised Site issues and requirements that may require additional NSRP TA analysis.
  • Provide coherent NSRP safety case information to the Licensed/Authorised Sites in the production of Site Safety Case(s).
  • Ensure that TA requirements are clearly articulated.
  • Act as a conduit to NSRP TA approved information.
  • Identify and develop new requirements for additional NSRP safety case information (e.g. the production of IURs and the initiation of NTRs).

Who we are looking for:

At Rolls-Royce we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do. These principles form our values and behaviours and are an essential component of our assessment process and are fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.

  • You will have knowledge and experience of nuclear plant and/or facility safety cases.
  • You will have an understanding of nuclear regulatory requirements applicable to the submarine plant and supporting dockyard infrastructure.

By building a culture of respect and appreciation, we give everyone who works here the opportunity to realise their full potential.
