CAD 80,000 – 110,000 per annum DOE

Climate Bonds Initiative is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Administration Manager. As a fast-growing investor-focused NGO, our mission is to mobilise global capital for climate action. We work with governments, investors, banks, and large companies to lead the market in green finance, certification of green bonds, and policy advice.

As the Sales Administration Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales administration function. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our sales team to build infrastructure that helps to drive revenue growth, streamline processes, and provide excellent customer service as we rapidly scale our fee for service solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales administration processes and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing sales reports, managing customer database, and coordinating sales meetings.
  • Develop capability in your team to efficiently manage inbound inquiries and sales leads to improve leads that result in sales
  • Become expert in use of our CRM and develop team standards for its use, in cooperation with stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and support for sales activities.
  • Analyse sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales records, including customer contracts and invoices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience as an inbound sales manager, customer service manager, office manager, call centre manager or inside sales manager or similar sales or direct customer support functions.
  • Hands on experience with CRM and, or ERP software, and office productivity tools
  • 2+ years of sales, or in a role that directly supported sales teams
  • B2B experience
