These are all sustainable products that will improve soil quality through water retention, nutrient growth and C02 reduction. Join our dedicated team and bring the next generation of agronomy innovation to farmers globally.The Sales Agronomist will be responsible for the Prairies territory, which includes Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:
- Product and Agronomic Support:
- Collaborate with retailers and distributors to provide expert agronomic advice on product selection and usage.
- Conduct field visits and trials to evaluate product performance and deliver data-driven recommendations to growers.
- Business Development and Sales:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including distributors, retailers, and growers, to drive product sales.
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to expand the market.
QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Education & Experience:
- A degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in agronomy, agricultural sales, or a related role.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales management software is an asset.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- A proactive mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach. This is a home-based, remote job and is for self-starters.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territories to meet client needs and conduct field visits.
- This role needs a passionate advocate for innovation in agriculture.
