Main responsibilities
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the organization and execution of events, meetings, and administrative tasks related to the Hydrogen Europe activities, as well as to the European Hydrogen Week. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the development of compelling exhibition and sponsorship proposals, as well as pitch decks, to attract potential sponsors.
- Supporting the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, meeting notes, and reports.
- Conducting outreach via email and calls, as well as scheduling and coordinating meetings with potential sponsors, exhibitors, and partners.
- Keeping the prospect database up to date by tracking outreach activities, including emails, calls, and meeting arrangements.
- Monitoring sponsorship deliverables to ensure compliance with agreements and contractual obligations.
- Providing administrative support for logistics and sales related to the European Hydrogen Week as needed.
- Assist in setting up and managing online working group meetings, as well as online registration, ensuring technical requirements are met and troubleshooting any issues.
- Offer ad hoc support to the Events Team, assisting with various administrative and operational tasks as needed, including preparing meeting rooms, welcoming guests, and handling basic office management tasks such as managing calls, maintaining the coffee corner, and ensuring the reception area is organized.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Event Management, Tourism, Management, Communication, Marketing or related,
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, additional languages are a plus,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with potential sponsors and partners.
- Good command of Zoom, Teams and a bit tech-savvy is a plus
- Interest in delivering exciting events and sponsorship sales,
- Ability to learn fast and deliver quality results while respecting deadlines, even when working under pressure,
- Strong organisational skills and good eye for detail,
- High level of curiosity and willingness to learn about the hydrogen sector.
