Job Title: Sales Ledger Assistant

Location: London Stansted Airport

Salary: £30,930 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week, Monday – Friday

Either 08:30 – 17:30 (with 1 hour lunch), or 09:00-17:30 / 08:30-17:00 (with a 30 minute lunch)

Start Date: ASAP

About The Role:

As a Sales Ledger Assistant the purpose of your role will be to generate sales invoices and process 3rd party supplier invoices that relate to sales invoices generated. Resolve any customer queries, supplying supporting documentation when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise sales invoices ensuring that direct expenses are charged to relevant aircraft rotation / task
  • Match and approve 3rd party supplier invoices that directly relate to the sales invoices raised
  • Maintain documented procedures and work through these with internal / external auditors
  • Train front of house staff on generating invoices for non-account customers. As part of doing this, feedback areas where they could improve the date inputted at source
  • Support systems development to improve procedures
  • Contribute to responding to email received into the general finance in-box
  • Other ad-hoc tasks
