About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data/BI Consultant with broad technical competences in SAP Datasphere/SAP Analytics Cloud and strong knowledge in business areas such as Finance, Sales and Manufacturing.

The person in this role will focus on understanding business needs with regards to reporting, development of the corporate analytics and reporting model, transforming business needs into data models, visualizing the data via dashboards and stories, deliver SAP Data stream within S4 project and support the implementation of Data governance.

What you’ll do

• Perform analysis and document the business requirements, goals and challenges of the entire company and individual business areas;
• Own and support end-to-end development cycle for new requirements and change request, implementing ETL processes, setting up data models and designing SAC stories;
• Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data, keep in mind best practices;
• Actively manage the SAP Data projects from requirements gathering, SIT, UAT preparation to go live;
• Manage and challenge our SAP external Partner on solution designs and data governance;
• Monitor analytics and metrics results;
• Optimize the system usage and help the business to use the application in a more efficient way;
• Document changes according to the change management policy;
• Transfer to key users the knowledge necessary to be able to use the application in a correct manner.

What you’ll need

• You have at least 3 years of experience with SAP Datasphere (Data Warehouse Cloud), SAP Analytics Cloud and Analysis for Office defining/planning and implementing solutions based on requirements driven by support and project initiatives;
• You have experience with SAP Datasphere, BW Bridge or similar experience with BW/4HANA and Eclipse;
• You are comfortable working with S/4HANA CDS views, consuming standard views and developing new ones basing on technical requirements;
• You demonstrate the knowledge of S/4HANA functionalities and end-to-end business flows, being able to talk with Business Process Owners in their language and understanding their business needs;
• You have experience with various cloud and on-prem data sources, including SAP ECC, SQL DBs, Azure Blob Storage etc.;
• You demonstrate ability to translate business requirements into the system design;
• You are an expert in applying data & analytics techniques and best practice;
• You have hands-on experience through phases of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) from analysis, to designing, customizing (configuring), testing, data mapping/conversion, performance tuning and documentation;
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• You are customer minded;
• You have good organization and project management skills;
• You have a proactive and out of the box mindset;
• You demonstrate flexibility and mobility to optimize contact with the different business units and entities;
• You take ownership;
• You have a university degree or the equivalent by experience;
• Languages: English is a must, any other language is a plus.
