We have an exciting opportunity for an SC Cleared field Service/data centre engineer to join a blue chip organization covering Andover, Portsmouth and Winchester on a contract basis for an initial period of 5 months.This role is inside IR35 and is only suitable for . The role requires Home office , which must be currently activeKey SkillsFirstly, enterprise IT Infrastructure – building/racking, configuration and support
Secondly, knowledge and configuration of Routers & Switches in a LAN / WAN environment
Configuration & troubleshooting of firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint etc)
Likewise, configuration of enterprise server and storage in a Data Centre
Also, configuration and setup of Wireless Access Points in a corporate environment
Basic understanding of IT operations in a large organisation
Furthermore, ability to work precisely and quality oriented
Maturity, high level of reliability & sense of responsibility
Flexibility and willingness to deal with unexpected problems and situations
A general technical orientation
Competent and professional communication with a commercial attitude over the phone
Most importantly, understand and clarify customer expectations effectively
Also, be able to manage customer expectations and interactions effectively
Ability to handle various types of media, devices, and libraries
Media management experience
