Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Scheduler to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to the resident and families, work with other members of the interdisciplinary team, and ensure that residents receive the best possible treatment in a variety of settings, including long term care, sub-acute care, and memory care. This role requires strong skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to resident-centered care.ResponsibilitiesScheduling:Including, but not limited to:

• Verify schedules are set for each shift within facility

• Organize, prioritize, and coordinate all nursing staff schedules

• Post staff schedule with 4 weeks in advance

• Develop/utilize a master schedule at all times

• Work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure accurate staffing

• Proactively identify staffing problems, take initiative to resolve, and communicate to the DON and /or Administrator

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or hospital required .

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment is required . Knowledge of Microsoft Office and prior experience with Scheduling Software required .

• The ideal candidate will also have previous scheduling experience.

• Specific experience with Excel, On Shift, and Expense Watch is also a plus.

• All other duties as assigned.

Central Supply:Including, but not limited to:

• Ordering nursing supplies

• Ensuring all units are stocked with necessary supplies

• Work closely with the Director of Purchasing to ensure accurate s upply ordering.

• Proactively identify s upply problems, take initiative to resolve, and communicate to the Director of purchasing and /or Administrator

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment is required . Knowledge of Microsoft Office and prior experience with Scheduling Software required .

• The ideal candidate will also have previous organizational experience.

• Specific experience with Excel, On Shift, and Expense Watch is also a plus.

• All other duties as assigned.

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare setting is a plus.

• Experience in Long Term Care

• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and company

• proprietary information

• Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels

• Must possess computer skills of the types and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
