Neylon’s Facility Management is currently recruiting for Part-time cleaners to work in a college in Carlow

Be aware that the cleaning services cover the school calendar, therefore you will not be required to work during school breaks (built up holiday hours will be available).

Successful candidates will need to provide personal details for Garda Vetting.

Working hours will be Monday to Thursday, from 3:15 PM to 7:00 PM , Friday 12:15 PM to 3:30 PM.

Full site specifics training, manual handling and Covid-19 training will be provided on-site before starting.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

Ensuring customer satisfaction through provision of a quality service as laid down in the cleaning specifications and guarded by the operations manager. To ensure that your own standard of cleaning is to the highest standard.

This is overall a cleaning role, and you will be responsible for completing general cleaning on site as instructed by the site supervisor or line manager.

Health & Safety Purpose:

To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities. Training will be provided on site as well as training on Covid-19 awareness and safe practices.

The successful candidate must present:

• Good English level
• Understanding of safe working practices and health & safety legislation
• Ability to work on his/her own or supervised
• Problem solving ability
• Team player skills
• Good attention to detail
• Must be well-organized, punctual and capable of prioritizing own work

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in similar role working as a contract cleaner (Reference on CV required)
• Experience in the use of cleaning equipment
• Manual Handing certification is desirable

You must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.
