The School Operations Senior Administrator is a key operational role in the School. The post holder will support the Deputy School Operations Manager [DSOM] and School Operations Manager [SOM] to deliver key operations activities across the School, and within departments, and to ensure efficient and effective support, advice and guidance is provided to all stakeholders.Operating as part of the interdepartmental School Operations Team and reporting into the Deputy School Operations Manager, the post-holder will undertake projects and champion activities on behalf of the School. They will engage in communities of practice to achieve continuous business improvement and standardisation, working in collaboration with colleagues in the Faculty and the wider University.The post-holder will be responsible for the line management of a small team of colleagues in the School office team, working closely with the Deputy School Operations Manager in support of the development and engagement of team members.The post holder will work collaboratively across the Operations team to effectively deliver support services, operations and continuous improvement in the areas of recruitment and human resources, estates, finance, compliance, procurement, health and safety, management information, communications and customer service support.Applications that consist of a CV only, or where it is not clear how an applicant meets the essential person specification criteria, can unfortunately not be considered.This is a re-advertisement.
