All Saints Catholic College, Specialist in Humanities, Bradley Bar, Huddersfield, HD2 2JTPosition typePermanentGradeGrade 4Salary£17,257 – £17,545Advert WordingWe are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Science Technician to support our thriving science department from October 2024.The successful candidate’s role will be to work with our science department to provide technical support for practical lessons, ensuring that resources and equipment are prepared and available.You will support the learning and teaching activities working closely with, and under the guidance and supervision of, the Advanced Science Technician.The successful candidate will have good literacy and numeracy skills, be reliable and have excellent communication skills.Experience of working in a school and/or a laboratory is desirable, although full training will be given to the successful candidate.All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos. In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category.
