An exciting and flexible opportunity has arisen for a Seasonal Event Assistant to join the Venue Hire team on a zero-hour, ad-hoc basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Kew Event Manager in overseeing a portion of weddings, corporate and private events schedule. The Venue hire team hosts over 250 events each year, ranging from weddings to corporate dinners, conferences to birthday parties to product launches. This role will provide essential support to the Venue hire team on an ad-hoc basis ahead of a busy forecasted events calendar.

Previous experience of operational event management is highly desirable, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a proven experience of handling challenging customers or situations with composure and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be able to follow specific instructions and support the on the day Event Manager but also work on their own initiative when required and will act with confidence when making decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and will be happy to work some evenings, weekdays and weekends as and when required. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly team delivering events throughout our peak season on an ad-hoc basis.

The salary will be £24,145 per annum pro-rata.
It is anticipated that interviews for this role will be held in the week commencing Monday 18th March 2024.
