Join our team and help shape the future! ππ Job Description:As a SEASONAL Teen Program Leader, you will play a crucial role in planning and leading activities for our teen members. You will execute our Model United Nations Program at Middle Schools throughout the El Monte City School District. This will create opportunities for teens to discover their passions, build valuable skills, and make meaningful connections. πΈπ¨πTHIS POSITION IS FROM JANUARY TO MAY 2025
- The schedule for this position is
- Monday – Thursday 2 pm – 6 pm
- Must be able to travel between worksites reliably
- Must attend the First Conference on March 21-22, 2025, and the Second Conference on April 25-27, 2025
π©βπ« Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing MUN Curriculum at assigned El Monte City School District Middle Schools
- Lead and supervise teen participants during programs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment
- Build meaningful relationships with teens, providing mentorship and support
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure high-quality program delivery
- Assist with program evaluation and feedback collection
π Qualifications:
- Experience working with teens in a recreational, educational, or mentoring capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for designing and leading activities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Current Adult & Pediatric First Aid/AED/CPR Certification from ASHI, American Red Cross or American Heart Association or willingness to obtain the certification within 30 days of hire
- Candidates must be a of minimum 18 years old
