This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and eager to make a difference in a mainstream secondary school setting.About the Role: * Start Date: January 2024
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year
- Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, helping them achieve their potential.
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students with additional needs, ensuring inclusive education for all.
About You:We are looking for someone who is: * Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Patient, approachable, and capable of building strong relationships with students.
- Experienced in working with young people, ideally in an educational setting (desirable).
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and ready to contribute to the school community.
Qualifications: * A Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) required.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
