- Provide support to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assist in implementing individual education plans and strategies
- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Help students with their learning and social development
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN
- Understanding of SEN support strategies
Education:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desired)
Experience:
- Experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good understanding of SEN principles and practises
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Patience and empathy towards students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
- SEN specific qualification (e.g., SEN Diploma)
Working Conditions:
- Temporary position with Full-Time hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
