- Eligibility to work in UK
- Enhanced DBS on the updated service.
- Previous experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs is highly desirable.
- A genuine interest in supporting student’s learning and development.
- Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and support different subjects or age groups as needed.
- Willingness to collaborate with teaching staff and support the overall objectives of the school.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small-group aid to students, both in and out of the classroom, to enrich their learning experience.
- Execute individualised learning strategies and plans that cater to the specific needs of each student, nurturing their academic growth and emotional well-being.
- Cultivate a secure and encouraging environment that allows students to establish positive relationships and refine essential social skills.
- Aid teaching staff in designing and delivering lessons, modifying materials and methods to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Uplift and inspire students, recognising their successes and progress, regardless of magnitude, to enhance their self-confidence and self-esteem.
