Richmond Hill, ON.The opportunityAs a Securitization Analyst, your primary focus is to manage the day-to-day operational requirements of Canadian Western Bank’s participation in Equipment & Mortgage Securitization programs. You will be relied upon as a subject matter expert on securitization programs and will interact with a variety of bank departments (Treasury, Finance, etc.) as well as the Securitization Partners to ensure program requirements are completed on a consistent basis.What you’ll be doingEnsure Securitization programs requirements are managed effectively and consistently.Design and successfully implement processes and procedures related to the Securitization programs.Work within the team to complete pool creation and documentation, reporting requirements (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually), and pool remittance activities flawlessly.Gather data and perform analysis required for future Securitization tranches.Identify and implement operational improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness within the Securitization programs for Canadian Western Bank.Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the Securitization programs and other securitization initiatives, offering support to various CWB departments.Provide mentorship and training on securitization topics to Canadian Western Bank departments.Successful incumbentThe successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. They should be able to quickly adapt to changes and demonstrate a flexible approach to work.Education:Undergraduate degree in Business (Finance, Economics, etc.) or equivalent experience.Professional Experience:Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial institution in a securitization, accounting or finance.Understanding of lending practices and amortization of financial products in the banking industry.Demonstrated experience working with securitization software platforms.Outstanding knowledge of computer applications, with a strong proficiency in Excel.Demonstrated strong and accurate quantitative skills, familiarity with data management and control.Excellent attention to detail; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to clearly and logically express yourself both verbally and in written communication.Proven track record of working cooperatively with others across functional areas of an organization (i.e. Treasury, Finance, Risk, etc.).Proven ability to develop effective processes, procedures, and controls.Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines.Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and take ownership of responsibilities.Why work with us?Your success is our obsession!
