  • Support staff in the field, include chiefs of party and field office managers, and security focal points on crisis and incident management.
  • Guide and assist Crisis Management Team on all safety and security issues during crisis periods and manage critical security incidents (i.e., kidnapping/hostage event).
  • Serve as an external and internal resource to raise the profile of GPTech, particularly around the safety and security of International Non-Governmental Organization workers in collaboration with international organizations, governments, and external stakeholders.
  • Advise on purchase of travel and security-related insurances and other safety and security services and risk management service providers.
  • Establish and manage relationships with all third-party risk management providers (brokers, insurance carriers/consultants, and security vendors).
  • Participate in security professional networks and brief GPTech leadership on findings.
  • Provide pre-departure and post-arrival travel briefings to GPTech staff and consultants.
  • Provide fleet and journey management support to include recommendations on vehicle types and specifications for country office.
