GENERAL SUMMARY:

To maintain a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors in accordance with department policies and standard operating procedures. Reports to the Supervisor of Security and coordinating Shift Charge Officers.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate degree preferred, preferably in Criminal Justice or Security Administration.
  • Zero to three (0-3) years of hospital/healthcare related security experience;
  • -OR- Three to five (3-5) years of complex security operations experience;
  • -OR- Four plus (4+) years of military experience with Honorable Discharge.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Valid State of Michigan driver’s license.
