- Provides customer support when customers seek security support and assistance in resolving a variety of security related issues/concerns. Assist with support in JWAC document review.
- Establishes and maintains effective external working relationships with necessary JWAC partners.
- Plans and implements protective methods and security procedures, using intrusion detection system (IDS) and devices, storage containers, cameras, safe, locks, locking systems, personnel entry control systems, and ballistics protection measures (BMS), for the protection of personnel and property.
- Interprets and implements ICD 705 security policies and procedures and responds to regular and recurring inquiries from all staff levels concerning the personnel security, safeguarding and storage of classified material, and accountability of classified material.
- Serves as a classification manager responsible for interpreting classification guidance and providing direction on marking requirements for JWAC personnel
- Provides technical expertise to organizational management, facilities, and IT/Communications personnel on security systems equipment, secure room/facility construction and renovation, communications and data line configuration and installation, emissions and audio security requirements.
- Assist in the development, review, coordination, and execution of a wide range of Program Physical Security documentation. Providing technical expertise of all physical security activities within the directorate that directly and indirectly support the mission of JWAC.

- Incumbent must have or be capable of obtaining and retaining a Top Secret/SCI/SAP security clearance.
- Locations are not negotiable. The actual duty locations available may be located on the Air Force Civilian Service website.
- This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing program. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use

- CDSE Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within 2 years
QualificationsOnly applicants who meet the area of consideration are eligible to apply for this job. In order to qualify for this position you must meet the basic education and/or specialized experience requirements.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience: interpreting policy originating from higher organization levels and implementing instructions, providing authoritative guidance to management officials and other security personnel; resolving issues involving conflicting security requirements from multiple nations; aid in responding to requests for physical, information, and personnel security guidance or assistance, identifying the nature of the issues involved and researching guidelines to identify the policies and procedures that apply to their solutions; independently use security principles, concepts, and methodologies to review, independently analyze, and resolve difficult security problems.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge in security management compliance, physical security processes for Special Access Facilities (SAPF) and ICD 705 construction requirements.
- Knowledge of ICD 705 as it relates to SCIF Administration, conducting internal SCIF assessments.
- Ability to establish controls and suspense dates to ensure required administrative actions and responses are made within deadlines and maintains administrative files of correspondence, regulations, directives, letters, and other security specific records and publications.
- Skill in coordinating security related actions with JWAC personnel in accordance with government policies and directives
- Ability to develop/implement policies, procedures and training for identifying and protecting info, personnel, facilities, operations or materials from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault or loss.
