Job Title: SEMH Teacher – Redbridge Schools

Are you a passionate and experienced SEMH Teacher looking for a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students? I am seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as SEMH Teachers, working across multiple schools in Redbridge, London.
This Client is are a forward-thinking educational organization committed to providing high-quality support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The team is dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive academically and emotionally.
The Role: As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with SEMH needs across various schools in Redbridge. Your responsibilities will include:
- Observing individual students within classroom settings.
- Recommending and implementing new strategies and models to support positive outcomes for students with SEMH needs.
- Collaborating closely with classroom teachers to develop tailored approaches to meet the individual needs of students.
- Providing guidance and support to teachers on best practices for supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Working autonomously to fit in with the students’ lesson plans and schedules.
- No preparation or paperwork involved, focusing solely on supporting students within the classroom environment.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience working with students with SEMH and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A deep understanding of SEMH and the ability to implement effective strategies to support positive outcomes.
- Excellent observational skills and the ability to identify barriers to learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and support staff.
- Flexibility and the ability to work independently to fit in with students’ schedules.
