Job Opportunity: English Teacher (QTS) – SEN SchoolStart Date: October Half Term/January 2025

We are seeking an English Specialist (QTS) to join our dedicated team at a supportive SEN school in Surrey. This role offers the chance to work in small class sizes, with a maximum of 12 students, allowing for tailored and impactful teaching.Our students come from diverse backgrounds and have a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Many also face additional challenges such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. We believe in a ‘can’t do yet’ approach, nurturing resilience and growth. As part of our trauma-informed school, you will receive extensive therapeutic training and support, equipping you to meet the unique needs of our students.The Role:

  • Teach a broad English curriculum, including Key Stage 3, GCSE, and Functional Skills.
  • Build professional, nurturing relationships with students to inspire and motivate them.
  • Work collaboratively with education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, and local authorities to achieve outstanding outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of both the academic curriculum and extra-curricular activities, bringing your own interests and passions to the role.
