We are seeking a compassionate individual with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to provide tailored support for students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with SEN in the classroom, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
- Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans.
- Work one-to-one or with small groups to encourage learning and independence.
- Help with classroom organisation and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the SENCo, teachers, and parents to monitor progress and adapt support where necessary.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children with SEN.
- Be patient, empathetic, and have strong communication skills.
- Be proactive and flexible in adapting to student needs.
- Hold a relevant qualification or have equivalent experience in a school setting.
