Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant? Do you have a passion for working with children who have Special Educational Needs? Are you looking for a new challenge? If so, Teaching Personnel want to hear from you!We are looking for TA’s to support children in schools located in the Farnborough area.You will be working with children with varied Special Educational Needs, which can include but is not limited to Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Speech and Language needs, Mental Health needs, and Profound Multiple Learning needs.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with academic tasks and encourage them to reach their potential in a professional and caring manner
  • Tailoring learning and activities to suit individual needs
  • Maintain flexibility and the ability to adapt to quick-changing situations
  • Be prepared to communicate differently with a wide range of people
  • Keep relevant records and write reports when required
  • Always ensure the highest level of safety and safeguarding

The successful applicant will have:

  • Relevant experience working with children or adults who have SEN
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A strong understanding of SEN and how varied these needs can be
  • An ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively handle crisis situations
  • The ability to demonstrate resilience and be adaptable to changing needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
