  • Provide individualized support to children with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, ensuring the comfort and dignity of the children at all times.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to create and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
  • Help with classroom activities, outings, and additional educational opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred but not essential.
  • A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to help children succeed.
  • Willingness to assist with personal care tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are advantageous but not mandatory.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
